Dr. John J. Marcin
After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Dr. Marcin earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree (with distinction) from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. Dr. Marcin then joined a group practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he was also a consultant to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, as well as staff Optometrist at the Oneida Indian Health Center. While in Wisconsin, Dr. Marcin was a clinical investigator for Food and Drug Administration studies of new contact lenses and solutions, and was a consultant item writer for the ocular disease section of the National Board of Optometry. Dr. Marcin was accepted as a member of the American Academy of Optometry in 1996.
Dr. Marcin and his family moved to Melbourne, FL, in 1987, and has been in practice in the Melbourne area since then. Dr. Marcin has a strong background in contact lenses, as well as ocular disease diagnosis and management.
Dr. Lynn D. Johnson
A native of Vero Beach, Florida, Dr. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She then graduated Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Johnson then joined a group practice in Jacksonville, Florida, where she practiced primary care optometry with an emphasis on contact lenses. Dr. Johnson spent 6 years on the board of directors of the Northeast Florida Optometric Society. After the birth of her twins, Dr. Johnson and her family moved to Sebastian, Florida, where they currently reside. She joined Dr. Marcin’s practice in 2004.
